I'm only slightly masochistic

Feeling pretty darn good about myself, I was just offered a breaking news editor position at the Jerusalem Post. 

This job actually includes everything I studied at university - journalism, communication and English (well, I studied English Lit and this is mostly use of the English language but hey, close enough).

Sure, it’s an entry level position, and it’s working in shifts, and it’s working 24/7 with complete disregard to weekends and holidays. But it’s still offering me more money than I made in any job so far, doing something I actually studied and I’m actually good at doing.

Fingers crossed this job is everything I hope it is and more.
