Three of my favorite things: House of Heroes, Times Square and leather jackets. <3

I still remember where I was (at a bus stop in south east Manhattan, on my way back to my aunt’s apartment when, miraculously I noticed I had free wifi coming from… somewhere!) and how I felt when I wrote that status.

I miss that feeling and I miss that night.

One year ago on August 13th, 2010, I saw Something Corporate for the first time at the Roseland Ballroom in New York. This was also my first time ever seeing Andrew McMahon perform. 

This night was perfect. I didn’t care the Roseland Ballroom was packed and that because I’m short, I had to go all the way to the back for a chance to even see anything, and I ended up not seeing much at all unless I stood on tip-toes. I didn’t care that someone nearly bathed us in beer. I was with a good friend who loved SoCo as much as I did, and we rocked out, singing along to every song, dancing around and jumping up and down.

By the time the show ended my entire body ached and I didn’t have a voice anymore and I relished in that fact because I knew I was doing it right and that it was all worth it.

Thank you - Andrew, Josh, Clutch, Brian and Bobby for an incredible show.
