I'm only slightly masochistic

One year ago on August 13th, 2010, I saw Something Corporate for the first time at the Roseland Ballroom in New York. This was also my first time ever seeing Andrew McMahon perform. 

This night was perfect. I didn’t care the Roseland Ballroom was packed and that because I’m short, I had to go all the way to the back for a chance to even see anything, and I ended up not seeing much at all unless I stood on tip-toes. I didn’t care that someone nearly bathed us in beer. I was with a good friend who loved SoCo as much as I did, and we rocked out, singing along to every song, dancing around and jumping up and down.

By the time the show ended my entire body ached and I didn’t have a voice anymore and I relished in that fact because I knew I was doing it right and that it was all worth it.

Thank you - Andrew, Josh, Clutch, Brian and Bobby for an incredible show.

I never actually saw this full picture before today, people tend to crop out everything except Andrew and his beanie. But this is a decent band picture ad IT WAS ON THE YAMAHA WEBSiTE WTF. Everones knows Andrew plays Baldwin pianos. Duh. Winning.

Andrew used to play Yamahas during the original Something Corporate days.. which is when the picture was taken. Hence sitting around the Yamaha piano.. In other news, Brian plays Yamaha drums.
